Join me for a 10 day Yatra in India this spring
We will start in Amritsar—center of the sikhs, where the Golden Temple can be found. We will spend time visiting Gurdwaras, sacred sites, and of course get to experience the Golden Temple, Harimandir Sahib.
While in Amritsar, on day 3 we will take a one hour drive to Goindwal, where the 84 steps to liberation can be obtained, for anyone who wish to do so (more information about The Steps of Goindwal available upon request).
After a day of rest, after the steps of Goindwal, we will make our way to Dharamsala, the small mountain village that is the home of the Dalai Lama. Dharamsala also offer some of the best markets in india, for Tangkas, crystals, jewelry and sacred art and objects. We will spend two days here.
After Dharamsala, we will travel towards Rishikesh, making a stop in Anandpur Sahib along the way.
Anandpur Sahib was the residence of Guru Gobind Singh, and the exact place where he created the order of the Khalsa. We will stay comfortably at a hotel in the nearby city, Chandigarh.
Our final stop is Rishikesh—the place of the rishis aka the yogis—where we will experience the Gangas, powerful meditation spots in nature, temples and ceremonies. Rishikesh will also be a welcome opportunity for Ayurvedic massage and deep relaxation before the trip ends.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
The Yatra begins in Amritsar in the afternoon on Monday, April 27, 2026.
The Yatra will end in Rishikesh, with transportation arranged and included to New Delhi Airport, on Wednesday May 6, 2026.
HOSPITALITY
The yatra will be hosted by Nam Satya and our local guide in India, Gurmeet Singh.
We will stay at hotels selected by Nam Satya and Gurmeet, for their comfort, cleanliness, service and hospitality.
Our means of transportation will be cars and small busses. All will be up to excellent standard and comfortable.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The Yatra cost includes 10 days of full program, all hotel stays, all meals (2-3 a day depending on our schedule), transportation between destinations, and ticket prices at sights if needed. We will have a couple of Kundalini yoga classes, evening meditation classes and lectures along the way, as part of the program.
Also included is 1 yatra information call with Nam Satya and Gurmeet, sometime in March, after registration has closed.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?
Travel to and from India is not included.
Please book your ticket so that you will arrive in Amritsar no later than noon, on April 27, 2026. You will be offered transportation to the New Delhi Airport on May 7, 2026 arriving around noon. If your plane leaves earlier, you will need to arrange transportation at your own cost (w'e’re here to help you, if this is the case). If you need to stay longer you also need to make your own arrangements at your own cost (again, we’re here to help you if you need).
Travel insurance and visas are not included, and are the responsibility of each participant.

PAYMENT PLANS
Special pre registration payment plan is available until January 13, 2026
Pay 5 installments of 550€ for single accommodation, each month for five months.
Pay 5 installments of 510€ for shared accommodation, each month for five months.
