INTELLIGENCE MEDITATION

  • INSTRUCTIONS

  • POSTURE


    Sit in easy pose. Relax your elbows down by your sides. Place the hands in front of the shoulders, palms facing forward. Bend the Ring & Pinkie fingers into the palms, and hold them down with the thumbs. Extend the Index (Jupiter) & Middle (Saturn) fingers straight up.

  • MOVEMENT & MANTRA


    Open the Jupiter & Saturn Fingers wide, then close them, in a steady rhythm.

    Eyes closed. Concentrate on the movement of the fingers. Leave your body and imagine you are in space, beyond the Earth, visiting the planets Jupiter & Saturn, & feel you are bringing the two planets together, then apart. Reach a hypnotic level and grow.

    (Do the breath in this fashion with no breaks in between)

    First 8 minutes:
    Relaxed breathing.

    Next 2 minutes:
    Begin breathing in deeply through the nose as you spread the fingers wide. Exhale as the fingers meet.

    Final & 11th minute:
    Hold the fingers wide open as in (a), make a ring of your mouth, and begin breathing in and out as fast & powerfully as you can from the diaphragm.

  • ENDING


    Inhale deeply, hold the breath, spread the fingers wide and tightly squeeze every fiber of your body, holding for 10 seconds. Exhale. Repeat 3 times total.

    Then relax and stretch your arms & shoulders, roll your neck, open your jaw — do all this to wake yourself up so that you can get up and go about your day.

    Do not immediately try to drive after doing this meditation.

    11 minutes is the maximum time for this meditation.

    Comments:
    Let the body go through any changes that may occur: If you feel like yawning or sneezing, just let it happen.

    Warning:
    In case you feel dizzy, stop. Otherwise keep going. If you begin to feel very negative, don’t worry, just keep going. It is only neutralizing the hidden anger. If you feel so relaxed that you just want to stop, keep going.
