MEDITATION FOR THE 6TH CHAKRA

  • INSTRUCTIONS


  • Posture: Sit with your spine straight.

    Eyes: Eyes are focused at the tip of the nose.

    Mudra: Place your left hand on your heart, and your right hand by your shoulder. Close your fingers into a fist, but leave the index finger—your Jupiter finger—pointing straight up. Keep it very stiff and straight.

    Mantra: Chant the mantra in a hissing voice, like a loud whisper (mantra on the next page)

    Continue for up to 22 minutes.

    Har singh nar singh neel naaraayan,
    Har singh nar singh neel naaraayan,

    Guru sikh guru singh har har gayan,
    Guru sikh guru singh har har gayan,

    Wahe guru Wahe guru, har har dhiayan,
    Wahe guru Wahe guru, har har dhiayan,

    Saakhat nindak dusht mathaayan,
    Saakhat nindak dusht mathaayan.

    Inhale deeply and hold the breath for 30 seconds, press the tip of the tongue to the upper palate of the mouth. Exhale. Repeat twice.

    Relax and move your arms and legs.
