THE CROWN
The seventh chakra is the crown chakra. It is also known as the “tenth gate” (you have 9 holes in the body—this is considered the 10th hole because at birth it is open, and only grows together later). The soul is said to leave through this point at the time of death.
The crown chakra is linked to the pineal gland which is responsible for your circadian cycle by producing melatonin, which helps regulate your sleep cycle. And yes, the pineal glad actually is shaped like a little pinecone—that’s how it got its name.
The crown chakra is special in the sense that - while giving many esoteric qualities and being our connector to the heavens (infinity in finite form) - it is also what keeps us humble. The vastness or boundlessness of the seventh chakra ensures that we stay grounded and humbled—in an egoless sense of those words.
