Come into Chair Pose (knees bent, back parallel to the ground, hands resting flat on the tops of the feet).
Keep the spine straight and the head face down.
Turn the head to the left shoulder and say "Wahe".
Turn the head to the right shoulder and say "Guru".
Alternate at a moderate pace to make a continuous sound current: "Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru".
Continue 3 minutes.
In all exercises where the mantra Wahe Guru is chanted in this kriya, focus on the Navel Point with "Wa," the Heart Center with "He," and the pursed lips with "Guru.
Stand up straight.
Put hands on the hips and lean backwards.
Keep the legs straight. Let the head fall back.
Turn the head to the left and say "Wahe".
Turn the head to the right and say "Guru".
Continue 3 minutes.
Stand up straight.
Bend slightly so the hands rest on the knees. Spine is straight but head is up.
Turn the head to the left and say "Wahe".
Turn the head to the right and say "Guru".
Continue 3 minutes.
Stand up. Stretch arms straight overhead.
On "Wahe", the feet are flat on the ground.
With "Guru", rise up on the toes.
Continue 3 minutes.
Sit on the heels.
Place the palms flat on the floor just in front of the knees. Spine and arms are straight looking like a sphinx.
Chant "Wahe" and then bend forward, touching the forehead to the ground and chant "Guru".
Continue 3 minutes.
Part 1
Sit in Easy Pose.
Whisper the Panj Shabd: "Sa Ta Na Ma".
4 minutes
To end: inhale, exhale, relax the breath.
Part 2
Still in Easy Pose.
Chant the Panj Shabd: "Sa Ta Na Ma" loudly.
4 minutes
To end: inhale, exhale, relax the breath.
Immediately come on the heels with palms on the thighs.
Begin flexing the spine, and with a powerful whisper chant "Sa" forward, "Ta" back, "Na", forward, "Ma" back.
Continue, then meditate.
TIME: 3 minutes.
This kriya is known by experiencing it. The set is a total workout for the thyroid, pituitary, and pineal glands. Your whole body will sweat. Meditate after this kriya and realize that we are channels for truth and that to maintain grace in the most ungraceful moments is the true human worth.
