  • INSTRUCTIONS

  • POSTURE 1


    Sit on your heels. Hands are locked and arched over your head in an arc. Bounce the knees up and down rapidly; both knees move together.

    Continue for 2 minutes.

  • POSTURE 2


    Sit with your legs out straight in front of you. Hands are on the ground beside you. Bounce the knees up and down rapidly. Keep the ankles loose.

    Continue for 1 minute.

  • POSTURE 3

    Sitting in the same position, raise 1 leg and then the other as high as possible. This is a fast motion. The feet touch the floor .

    Continue for 3 minutes.

  • POSTURE 4


    In the same position as in exercise 3, raise your right leg and your left arm at the same time and lower them. Raise your left leg and your right arm at the same time and then lower them. This is a fast movement.

    Continue for 3 minutes.

  • POSTURE 5

    Come into crow pose.

    This i s a 4 part exercise.

    1) Stand up.

    2) Bend over at the waist until the back is parallel to the ground. Arms are parallel to the ground.

    3) Same position as 2m but the hands touch the floor.

    4) This is a 2 part movement. Forts stand up straight and then come back down into crow post. This 2 step movement is done in one count.

    For 2 minutes the teacher calls off the positions in order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, … while the class executes them.

    For the next 6 minutes the teacher calls them out in a random order.

    This exercise works on the brain and raises your I.Q.

    Repeat the whole set.
