SUMMER SOLSTICE PRACTICE

THANK YOU FOR JOINING THE SUMMER SOLSTICE PRACTICE — ON THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND THE PRACTICE VIDEO + LINK TO THE ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP AND LIVE WITH NAM SATYA

 A NOTE FROM NAM SATYA

The Summer Solstice is one of the most powerful days of the year.

When we align with these power days—like the solstices and the equinoxes—something really magical happens.

Life starts to flow in a different way, and we can experience more synchronicity, which signifies that we are on the path to destiny.

In these windows I feel called to do something together as a community. When we practice together we amplify the energy, and our opportunities magnifies.

The following practice, The Bowing Jaap Sahib, is excellent for when going through tough times, as it brings courage, strength and helps to gain perspective. It is not only for challenging times though—we need these qualities everyday in life.

Are you ready to join me for the 11 days of a daily Kundalini Yoga practice? Keep reading or scroll down to sign up.

I look forward to practicing with you.

Why practice the Bowing Jaap Sahib?

The bowing Jaap Sahib strengthens Your Arcline—your projection; Your Aura—determining what shows up in your life and how you feel within your “own space”; and Your Radiant Body—which gives courage, strength and protection.

It is very mind clearing, and the rhythmical movement brings fresh blood supply to your brain and sets the glandular system.

What is the Jaap Sahib?

The Jaap Sahib is a longer mantra and a poem written by Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru who was the embodiment of the warrior/saint archetype. A fierce warrior and also an enlightened master, Guru Gobind Singh created the order of the Khalsa—meaning The Pure Ones—and gave tools to his followers to increase their sense of identity and to identify themselves with courage.

This mantra has a particular rhythm and also many of the words rhyme. This creates a certain effect in the brain when chanted and moved to, and brings forth qualities like courage, neutrality, less fear and the strength to do what’s necessary.
