THE WAKE UP SET

  • INSTRUCTIONS

  • POSTURE 1


    STRETCH POSE

    Lie down on your back. Bring your feet together, and keep the knees straight. Point your toes and lift your feet 15cm (6 inch) of the ground.

    Lift also your shoulders and head up off the ground.

    Arms are by your sides and also lift up so that the palms of the hands face each other (fingers are straight).

    Keep your eyes open and focus on the toes.

    Do Breath of Fire—a fast rhythmic breath through the nose. Equal inhalation and exhalation.

    Continue for 3 minutes.

  • POSTURE 2


    Bring the knees into the chest and wrap your arms around them.

    Bring your nose (lift your head) up between your knees.

    Breath of Fire.

    Hold for 3 minutes

  • POSTURE 3


    oll back and forth on the spine a few times, and then come up to seated.

  • POSTURE 4


    Sit in easy pose. Bring your arms up 60 degrees (from parallel). Curl your fingers in to the pads of the hands and extend the thumbs.

    Do Breath of Fire in this posture for 3 minutes.
