MOTHERS DIVINE COLLECTIVE

PREGNANCY YOGA PRACTICE

Welcome dear, I am so excited to have you here!

First of all, congratulations on becoming a mother, and undertaking the mighty task of bringing in a new soul to this world. No small feat, and every woman deserves a medal and rose petals laid at their feet when they commit to a pregnancy—if you were to ask me.

The following practices are all safe to do during pregnancy, but I still always remind mothers of really listen careful to them selves, and check in and ask if these practices feels like a “yes”. Anything that doesn’t—better to skip it.

You are welcome to join the daily livestream and practice the “Har” meditation with the group, on our Instagram private group—this meditation is safe for you to do, as long as you don’t pull in on the navel as you chant (which you probably won’t want to do anyways).

If you are pregnant with a boy child, it is encouraged that you do the Adi Shakti meditation (and initiate your boy into the Adi Shakti boys club—that’s where that comes from). Many mothers that I know, and myself included, did at least 40 days of this meditation (but really the length of the full pregnancy is advised to do it) during their pregnancy. It helps the male child to keep their sensitive nature. It is also a wonderful practice for the mother, as a preparation for birth, as it creates a closeness to the divine mother, the Maha Shakti.
