CLASS COLLECTION: Teachings of The Sword
A 6 class series with Nam Satya, focused on the archetypal energies found in Kundalini Yoga that are linked to the symbol of the sword.
The sword represents the element of air, and is connected to our mind. A sword is a fierce weapon, that requires discipline and responsibility by its user. Same thing with our minds. When we don’t know how to master our thoughts, they can run rampant and we become slaves of our subconscious and unconscious mind. That is not a pleasant place to be in.
Within the science of Kundalini Yoga we encounter many practices, that are using the energy and archetype of the warrior and the sword. With this energetic alignment we can cut through almost anything. When we can cut through our own deceptions, limitations, mental and physical blocks, we can live more freely, and be more at ease.
The sword is often characterized as being a masculine tool, but it does not only relates to a masculine identity. Many of the teachings we are going to cover are teachings for women, and work deeply with awakening our true femininity—and can be applied for all genders. A unique feature of this yogic lineage and these practices is the celebration of the woman, as a warrior, and as someone who holds a fierce and gracious feminine identity. That is what the teachings of the sword is meant to awaken within us.
In this class series I introduce meditations, kriyas and mantras relating to the teachings of the sword.
