MY JOURNEY WITH KUNDALINI YOGA
I was 23 when I first came into contact with Kundalini Yoga. It was in Paris and I was excited about all the yoga forms the city had to offer. I tried them all, basically. I had been practicing yoga since I was 13, so I was in no way a novice. Still, this form of yoga (kundalini) was so different that I in many ways felt like a complete beginner (what a wonderful place to be, by the way). And I was very intrigued by the results I felt.
The meeting with Kundalini Yoga created the spark I needed to implement serious changes in my life. I am not going to go into my “destructive past life” story—we all have one, and to be quite honest it is not very interesting to talk about them. (I am much more interested in knowing what you are planning to do with your future). Through the practice I was able to let go of limitations that at that point in my life felt crippling and made me miserable on almost a daily basis. I was in no way living life to the fullest, even though I “on paper” had an exciting and “glamorous” existence in Paris.
When I met my teacher Guru Jagat, it was the point of no return. I “met her” online in 2016, and then in person the year after when I took my teachers training at RA MA Institute Mallorca. The place which has been my home base now for the past 5 years.
Kundalini Yoga, and studying with my teacher, rearranged everything in my life. It was not a tumultuous time — although it might have looked so from the outside—but because of the practice and the support I could lean on from the community, my life changed in a way that felt 100% right. I felt carried to my destiny.
“Destiny” or “higher purpose”, always seems so grand, and a little bit cliche and new age-y. But it is simply the highest potential outcome of your life, which will brings you the absolutely most enjoyable experience possible. Living in destiny, means having the experience of life as a flow of possibilities, opportunities, richness and joy.
My destiny has a mission, which includes two major aspects (besides being a mother and wife which are also privileges and destinies that I don’t take lightly) : 1) The work I do with Mothers Divine—bringing the yogic conception, pregnancy and motherhood teachings to women and families. And 2) Teaching—and providing others with the tools and confidence to teach.
These missions are to be carried out regardless of participants or spectators. My point is: I’m doing this—you can join and receive if you are interested—or not. The offers will find the right people for the mission. And I know they are here as part of a preservation for the future.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT: DEEPER STUDIES
YOU BECOME A GOOD TEACHER WHEN YOU ARE A GOOD STUDENT
I am opening up the space for you to become a better student of Kundalini Yoga, and potentially a teacher (or a better teacher, if you are already one). My next program: The DEEPER STUDIES Course 2023 will begin on January 15. We will cover some of the major aspects of Kundalini Yoga, and go deeper into the technology than what would be possible in a regular class setting.
This is an opportunity to go deep into this technology and find the methods and tools that can transform your life, and make you feel more happy, expanded, carried, supported...
This is also an opportunity for those of you who are looking for tools for how to seamlessly teach a class, know more about the background of Kundalini Yoga—of why we do things the way we do etc. This is the course where it will all be explained.
Most importantly, it will give you a framework for deepening your own practice, which as stated before is what will make you a better teacher. The workshops, classes and daily practice provided and the group accountability has the potential to really create shifts, and bring you to your destiny. Or enhance your potential for making the biggest possible impact with your destiny, if you are already on the way.
