SADHANA GUIDE

On this page you will find a suggested daily practice to accompany you throughout the training.

You are welcome to do this practice for the entirety of the course, or if you already have a daily practice, you can keep going with that one, adjusting for the the course requirements (if you want).

Make sure you cover these four areas: breath (pranayam), yoga set (a kriya), meditation + mantra, in your daily sadhana for a full experience.

Course Requirements

In order to complete this training and obtain your certificate, you have to do a 40 day Sadhana, ideally consisting of the Ten Bodies yoga set—done consistently and unbroken every day for 40 days (modifications are okay, see below guidelines for details).

If now is not an ideal time for you to do a 40 days consecutive Sadhana, you can do it at anytime within the next year, and just let me know when you have completed it. I will then send you the course certificate.

If you have any questions about the course requirements or the below practices, just reach out.

If you have any limitations that prohibit you from doing these practices, or if you need suggestions for alternative practices, reach out to me and together we can find something that will work for you.

The suggested Sadhana consist of…

Japji recitation

Cat / cow (3 min)

Yoga Set: Awakening the Your Ten Bodies

Laya Yoga chant (3-11 min)

1 — JAPJI

The Japji is the song of the soul.

It awakens you to your soul’s destiny and helps guide you through life.

Each person has what is known as a Charan jap. This is one or two lines in the Japji which is particularly powerful for that person. This is another reason why someone should recite or listen to the japji every day—to be sure to receive the benefits of their Charan jap every day.

2 — CAT / COW

Cat / cow is an excellent warm up, that balances the chakras and moves the spinal fluid to the brain.

3 — YOGA SET: AWAKENING TO YOUR TEN BODIES

Use the video below to familiarize yourself with the set if it is new to you. Once you know the set you can definitely do it faster (usually takes me between 25-30 minutes), by setting your own timer. Find the write up through the link below.

MODIFICATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS

As mentioned in the video, if you cannot commit to doing the full set, do at least the first three exercises (stretch pose, nose to knees, breath of fire / ego eradicator, and frogs + the meditation. If you have further restrictions please write to me so we can make a plan for your 40 day practice to accompany the course.

Do not do breath of fire and do not lift both legs during stretch pose if you are pregnant and on the first three days of your menstrual cycle.

MANTRAS

I deliberately did not put any mantras on during the recording of the set, so that you can put your own music during sadhana. It is advised that you play the Aquarian Mantras and / or listen to the banis (find them in the dropbox in the resource section).

4 — RECITATIONS (SUGGESTED)

Chant during the day or as part of your sadhana. You are already doing Japji, and that’s great! If you feel inspired to or called to, choose a mantra from the list below—learn it, chant it or play it. You will also be presented with mantras relating to each of the Ten Bodies in the course.

Mul Mantra — The root mantra that brings security and puts you on your destiny path.

Ant Na Siftee — Cut through negativity and karmic family patterns.

Bahota Karam — For prosperity and healing karmic scarcity patterns.

Bhand Jameeai — For better relationships.

Eka Mai — For activating the feminine and creating aspect.

Lakshman — For prosperity and to access new resources.

Tithai Too — For ultimate protection and to feel nourished and sustained.

Wah Yantee — For the 6th chakra and to become intuitive.

Rakhe Rakhan Har — For the Radiant Body and for healing.
